Perrott recorded an amazing 7 wins from 7 games over the weekend.
On Friday the U13’s played Taunton Deane Blades and bowled the opposition out for 123. The Perrott reply was lead by Grey Sinfield with a super 31 ( retired ) and the winning runs were scored with 5 balls to spare at 9.15 pm !
Saturday saw the 1st XI at home to Weston Super Mare. Some normality was restored to Perrott’s batting as they moved from 125 -2 at 34 overs to 250 -7 after 50. Whorlow 65, Retter 42 and Henderson 30. Stacy Hawes then had ex Somerset player Rob Turner and current Somerset player Peter Trego caught in his 2-23. Matt Pardoe taking 4-20 and Gordy Whorlow 2-32 as Weston were bowled out for just 104.
2nd XI travelled to Wembdon and did well to restrict the home side to 177-5. 2-42 from Rick Hyett and 2 stumping’s for Joseph Eckland the highlights. The Perrott reply was a little rocky but Max Dicker held things together with 63 NO, Joseph Eckland and George Johnson making 20 each as Perrott won totalling 178-7
3rd hosted Ilton and Perrott batting first made a formidable 274-7. James Salaman making a hard hitting 102 was supported by Jack Male 43 and Brandon Moy 44. Phil Munden seized the opportunity to take 5-28 and 2 wickets each for Tegan Furner and George Preston meant Ilton scored 94 all out.
Sunday and Perrott U10’s hosted Crewkerne for the second week running. Perrott scored 132-6 and then restricted Crewkerne to 73-6 to secure another win. Meantime the U15’s had travelled to Bridgwater. Batting first Perrott scored 149-6 with Tegan Furner retiring on 51 and 25 for Archie Frost. Catherine Hayton lead the Perrott bowlers taking 3-18 as Bridgwater made 127-6.
