Saturday turned out to be 'not a good day at the office' as all three Perrott sides recorded losses.
A changed 1st XI hosted Minehead and although having them 41-3 early on dropped catches and poor fielding cost Perrott dearly as the visitors went on to make 192 -9.
In reply only Nick Taylor showed the concentration required on a bowler friendly wicket making 45 and Jonny Ireland a steady 22 not out but alas it wasn't enough to maintain the unbeaten run as Perrott folded at 128 all out.
The 2nd XI had a long afternoon in the field at Uphill Castle as the home side amassed 271-6 pick on the bowlers was Jo Hawkins 3-68. Perrott's reply never got up with the required run rate and the highlight of the day for the club was 13 year old Joseph Eckland's 50 not out on his 2nd XI debut. George Johnson scored 41 but Perrott were all out for 188 well short of victory.
There was another long afternoon for the 3rd XI as Taunton St Andrews 4th's scored 277 - 4, George Bromfield taking 2-27. In reply Jonny Hopper continued his good form with 58 and Finlay Hayton 21 as Perrott finished on 154 -7
So a day to forget and move on to next week.
