Perrott played Wembdon in the semi final of the Somerset indoor cricket cup, batting first Perrott put 144-4 on the board with skipper George Retter making 31 NO supported by Gordon Whorlow and George Johnson both retired with 25. In reply Wembdon were bowled out for just 37.
The final was to be against Wells who had beaten Wellington in the other semi final. Again batting first Perrott put up a very competitive score of 124 -5 with both George Retter and Gordon Whorlow making 30. Wells found the Perrott bowling too tight to put together a serious fight as they ended on 70 all out and Perrott were crowned as Somerset champions.
North Perrott will now progress and represent Somerset in the ECB Indoor National Club Championship where they will take on the indoor champions from Gloucestershire who are Cheltenham Civil Service CC. That game will be played on Sunday 17th February. The winner of this tie will then take their place in South & West Finals on 3rd March.
