This Sunday 24th June promises to be a Super Sunday at the club.
The club host Roche CC from Cornwall in the last 32 of the National Village Cup with game starting at 1.30
On the same day the Parrett Challenge will be held to the rear of the pavilion starting at 12.00,.The teams competing in 'It's a Knock Out' style games throughout the afternoon.
In addition England v Panama will be live on TV in the downstairs bar - Kick Off 1.00
Bar, food and refreshments are available from 12.00.
Perrott collected another 4 wins from 6 games over the weekend.
1st XI travelled to North Petherton and soon had the home side in trouble at 10-3. A mid order revival was seen off off by the spin bowlers and but for some sloppy attempted catches the final score would of been less than the 120 achieved. Gordon Whorlow taking 4-6 and Stacey Hawes 3-29. Perrott's reply raced along to 72 before George Retter went for 53. Whorlow 58NO and Jonny Ireland then saw Perrott home for the loss of just 1 wicket.
2nd XI were at home to Wellington and the visitors seemed to be heading for a big total at 193-4 but a late order collapse saw them all out for 218. Rick Hyett 3-61 and 2 wickets each for Hugo Hammond,Sam Rowswell and Max Dicker. The Perrott reply was lead by Nick Taylor with 73 Tommy Stewart 30 and the home side finished on 219-7 to secure a 3 wicket victory.
3rd Xi made the short trip to South Petherton. Batting first Jonny Hopper 38 and George Bromfield were the top scorers in Perrott's 148-8. The home side were able to knock the runs off for 5 wickets down, George Preston 2-25 was the pick of the Perrott bowlers.
Sunday XI hosted Comton Dundon and the visitors choice to bat first. They put up a creditable 245-5 of which Jonny Ireland took 4-33. Nick Taylor 101NO and Jack Henderson 100 (retired) lead the Perrott charge as the home side scored the winning runs in 30 overs having lost just 1 wicket.
Perrott U13's hosted Taunton CC on Friday and proved too strong for the visitors. Taunton made 97 all out Ronnie Frost taking 4-11. In reply Perrott lost just 1 wicket to secure the 9 wicket win.
The U15's were at home to Bridgewater in what was a very close game.Bridgwater batting firat made 106-9 with Will Owen taking 4-13. Perrott's reply seemed to be going well with Tegan Furner 24 and Ollie Lowe 45 leading the way however Perrott finished on 103-9 losing by just 3 runs.
Friday evening saw Perrott Monkeys start their U19 T20 games with a visit to Shapwick & Polden.The hosts batted first and were contained by tight bowling from the Monkeys and ended on 99-7. 2 wickets each for Tommy Stewart and Max Dicker. Perrott's reply got off to a quick start through Jesse Meaker 26 and Joseph Eckland 21 when Oldknow came in at 3 to smash 25 Perrott won in the 13th over with just 2 wickets down.
Also on Friday evening the U13's travelled to Taunton Deane. Perrott made a respectable 128-9 in 20 overs. However the stroung Deane lineup were able to pass the Perrott total making 131-3. Perrott remain 3rd in the league however.
Saturday saw 1st XI host unbeaten Chard. Asked to bat first Chard lost 2 wickets without a run on the board. Good bowling by all the Perrott lads meant Chard were contained to 137 all out. 4-21 for Alex Eckland and 3-36 Josh Marshall-James. The Perrott reply came in fits and starts and it was thanks to Jack Henderson 31 and George Johnson 20 that the ship was steaded and Perrott finally ran out winners in the 44th over having lost 6 wickets
2nd XI travelled to Kilmington and were in debted to Tommy Stewart 54 Jonny Ireland 49 in totalling 196-9. Kilmington's opener made 112 as the home side won having lost just 3 wickets. Good spell from Perrott's Tom Johnson 6 overs 1 for17
3rd XI hosted South Petherton. A lively wicket saw Perrott muster 142 thanks to young Barney French 27 and a 'senio'r Simon Gerring 24. A good spell of bowling from George Preston 4-31 and 2 wickets each for Phil Munden and Rob Meech was enough to secure victory with Petherton 107 all out.
Sunday and another 3 games on the cards. U10's were hosting Crewkerne. Batting first Perrott made 122-1 in reply the Crewkeren lads were unable to deal with Perrott's deadly attack and finished on 26-6
Mean time the U15's were at home to Taunton Deane Blades. Perrott set a big total with Archie Froat 50 retired George Bromfield 45 and Ollie Lowe 45. Deane put up a good fight but fell short as Perrott secured 3rd spot in the league.
In the afternoon the National Village Cup team with a real mix of all our players went to Hinton Charterhouse in the area final of the NVC. Batting first Jonny Ireland lead the way with 85 as Perrott set a total of 235 with 170 runs coming off the final 20 overs.Thanks to tight bowling from Hawes and Hunt the home sides reply was always behind the required rate despite keeping wickets in hand. When they tried to increase the tempo 2 run outs and a 5 wicket haul from George Retter ensured Perrott won by 50 runs and move to the last 32 in this competition.
Perrott progressed to the last 32 of the National Village Cup for the 2nd year running after a victory at Hinton Charterhouse today.

Perrott will be home to Roche from Cornwall in round 5 and will be played on Sunday June 24th.
